And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.  ~ 1 Corinthians 13:13

Hi there! I’m Kristi Hamberg, and I’m so glad you stopped by!

I am a Christian, wife, mama of two kiddos (Peyton and Aiden), teacher, and photographer all rolled into one. I have always loved working with kids, and I love spending time with them each day in my first grade classroom. It wasn’t until I had my first child that I realized how important it is to savor every moment and try my best to push the “pause” button. I have found photography to be the best way to do that. My husband, Jason, always teases me about the amount of photos I take of our family. I remind him that someday he’ll be thankful that I did!

My goal is to help other families push the “pause” button on life as well. Whether it be a couple head over heels in love, a precious baby bump, the birth of a child, or watching children grow, I want to capture all of it! I feel priviledged to be invited into those special moments of my clients’ lives. I promise to keep our session laid back, comfortable, and FUN!

I think it’s important to know the person with whom you’re working. For that reason, I often blog about my family and what we’re up to. If you’re interested in reading, check out my personal posts under the “Blog” tab. Writing has always been another passion of mine. To me, blogging is just a grown-up version of the journaling I loved to do back in the day. Only now I’m keeping a journal that all the world can read! (Gasp!)

You may be wondering where I got the name of my business. Honestly, I really struggled when it came to finding a name that I loved. I asked around for ideas, looked everywhere I could for inspiration, and prayed my heart out that something would come to mind. I was driving in my car when a song came on the radio. The refrain of it was, “I know Jesus and I talk to God, and I remember this from when I was young: Faith, hope, and love are some good things He gave us… And the greatest is love.” That was it! In that moment, I knew God had heard and answered my prayers. That verse has always been one of my favorites. We even had chosen it to be read during our wedding ceremony. It is of course important to have faith and hope in life, but love…LOVE is what makes life worth living! It is the common thread that ties marriage, births, and raising a family together.

I hope you have enjoyed learning more about me and my story. I look forward to learning more about you and helping capture your story!
